He was born 18 Mar 1850 in Quebec, Canada. In 1890 he moved to Marinette, Marinette County, Wisconsin to build a box factory for Cook and Rathborn, a company out of Chicago. Upon completion he was hired as the superintendent. He worked there until 1918. Before 1890 he built box factories, saw mills and lumber mills form the Dakotas to the Carolinas. He died 29 Dec 1926 in Chicoutimi, Quebec Province, Canada.
