She married Sam Houston Martin, son of James Jackson Martin and Lucy Ann Teasley, on 20 Dec 1896 at Byrds, Grosvenor Community, Brown County, Texas. They had two children — Jim Martin and Alvie Martin. She died in 19 May 1903 when her children were 2 and 4 years old.
